This is generally in the form of boilers, equipment, pipework, ductwork, flues, fans, vessels, buffer tanks, and their related fittings.

We Supply and Install the following:


  • Thermal Insulation

    • We use a range of thermal insulation materials, from mineral wool to acrylic nitrile rubber, Polyurethane, polystyrene etc. in combination with metal sheathing as required.

  • Passive Fire Protection

    • Fire stopping is an area of fire proofing to retard the spread of fire through various penetrations commonly occurring in buildings, such as ductwork, cable trays, conduits, pipework, drainage systems, wiring etc. It is used to form a seal around service penetrations in walls and floors etc. Fireproof insulation is insulation made of specifically designed fire retardant material. Various approved proprietary passive Fire Protection systems are available for solutions to most requirements. Passive Fire Protection works are Government regulated and should be performed by experienced passive fire personal only. TEAQ can advise, install various required products and furnish Passive Fire Protection Certificates.

  • Pipe Insulation

  • Steam Jackets and Valve Boxes

    • Thermal Engineering Applications Qld Pty Ltd valve jackets consist of a ready-made range to suit most standard fittings, and can also be customised to suit a great many other situations such as flanges and heat exchangers. They are manufactured from a range of materials for different applications ranging from high and very high down to low temperatures. They are easily installed with minimal effort and removal and refitting is equally simple. Fastenings are usually via tied laces and/or hook and pin (similar to Velcro).
    Steam Boxes/Covers are made from a variety of metal with or without insulation to customer requirements

  • Duct Insulation

We are fully conversant with co- ordinating with all trades (plumbers, ceiling fixers, duct erectors and building contractors) to ensure the smooth installation of all insulation.
